SWEDISH SALAD BOWL 
8 oz. can pineapple tidbits
1 tart apple, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
5 tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/2 cucumber, cut into strips
2 egg yolks
1 hard-cooked egg yolk, mashed
1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. whipped cream
1/2 head lettuce, shredded

Drain pineapple; reserve juice. Combine pineapple, apple, celery, tomatoes and cucumber in large bowl; set aside. Mix egg yolks with reserved juice; cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Cool; add mashed egg yolk mixed with mustard and vinegar. Fold in whipped cream. Combine with pineapple mixture. Chill. Add lettuce just before serving. Yields 8 servings.
