SWISS STEAK 
1 (3 lb.) round steak or equivalent venison steak
6 carrots
4 ribs of celery
2 onions
1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. oil
1 qt. stewed tomatoes
Seasoning to taste

Mix flour and seasonings. Cut steak into 6 equal pieces. Dredge steak in flour then brown in oil until light golden color. Remove steak and drain on paper towel. Drain excess oil from pan. Cut carrots, celery and onion. Add to meat drippings and partially cook. Place meat, vegetables and tomatoes in crock pot and cook for 6 hours or in oven for 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
