2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well all ingredients. Make several long rolls and wrap in wax paper. Chill, slice and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar while still warm.
