CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices white bread
3/4 lb. sharp process American cheese, sliced
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
2 c. finely diced, cooked ham
6 slightly beaten eggs
3 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. instant minced onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Cut 12 doughnuts and holes from bread. Set aside. Fit scraps of bread in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Place cheese in layer over bread. Add layer of broccoli, then ham. Arrange bread doughnuts and holes on top. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over bread and all. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 55 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese last 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Nicer if bread is frozen before cutting. May need longer baking if cold. 12 servings.
