DAINTY TEA COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream sugar and butter; add egg and mix thoroughly. Mix dry ingredients, and add to sugar mixture. Mix in vanilla; mold into 1-inch balls and bake at 450 to 500 degrees for 6 minutes. When done, roll them gently in confectioners' sugar.
