TOMATO FRENCH DRESSING 
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
Sm. garlic clove

Rub the mixing bowl with the garlic clove; add the catsup, salt, pepper, mustard and sugar. Slowly add the oil, beating all the while. It is best to have the oil very cold. Then beat in the vinegar. Makes 1 cup.
