ORIENTAL MEATBALLS 
2 slices bread (+/-)
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. powdered mustard
1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Cornstarch or flour
Cooking oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. cooking sherry
1/2 c. catsup
3 c. hot cooked rice

Moisten bread with water and squeeze dry. Combine bread with meat, egg, salt, mustard, ginger, garlic powder; blend well.

Form meatballs and roll in cornstarch or flour, brown in hot oil. Drain off excess oil.

Mix together brown sugar, vinegar, cooking sherry and catsup. Add sauce mixture to meatballs and simmer for 1/2 hour on top of stove. Serve over cooked rice.
