GOLDEN FEATHER CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 whole eggs

Put all ingredients in large bowl and beat until smooth and creamy. Pour into pan. Bake. Cool and frost with fluffy white icing and top with shredded coconut. Cooking time: 25 minutes. Temperature: 350-375 degrees.
