FEATHER SPONGE CAKE 
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
Little salt
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla or orange or lemon

Beat 6 egg whites and cream of tartar until it stands in peaks. Beat 6 egg yolks until thick. Add sugar and cold water a little at a time. Beat until sugar is dissolved. Add flour. Beat. Fold in egg whites. Bake in ungreased angel food pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
