Press each biscuit out into 6-inch round. Fill each biscuit with taco mixture and a heaping tablespoon of cheese. Fold dough over the filling and press edges together to seal. Arrange biscuits on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Serve with extra salsa, cheese, chopped green onions and sour cream at the table. Ingredients
* 1 tablespoon chili powder
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
* 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
* 1 teaspoon sea salt
* 1 teaspoon black pepper
Mix in a bowl. Makes about the amount equal to the package of seasoning mix. When making tacos, use as you would package mix, (about 1/3 cup water to cooked meat, add and mix in spice mixture., cook a few minutes on medium heat to allow to thicken as water evaporates out.)
