FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
4 eggs
1 c. bourbon
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
6 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. buttermilk or sour milk
4 c. cake flour
2 lbs. candied cherries
2 lbs. candied pineapple
1 lb. seedless raisins, light
1 lb. seedless raisins, dark
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 stick butter

Cut up fruit and nuts and flour with 1/2 cup of the cake flour. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, milk and whiskey. Sift and add dry ingredients. Fold over fruit and nuts.

Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees (lower on electric oven) for about 12 minutes.

I used this recipe last year and it was a big hit...even the people that don't like fruit cake loved the cookies. They really are a great cookie, very moist. I have a fruit cake recipe and I was looking for a cookie that was real close to the cake... this is it. Thank you for posting this recipe.
