CRISP MOLASSES COOKIES | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. molasses 2 tbsp. milk 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. ginger 1 tbsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Combine butter and molasses with milk in saucepan over low heat. Bring slowly to boil. Pour gradually into sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Let stand overnight at room temperature. Take small amount of dough at a time and knead until light. Roll very thin and cut into desired shapes. Decorate. Bake at 300 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Be careful, molasses does burn. Another good cookie for kids. |
