HAWAIIAN SPARE RIBS OR CHICKEN 
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. catsup
9 oz. crushed pineapple
1 tbsp. soy sauce
3 - 4 lb. spare ribs

Simmer first 7 ingredients for 5 minutes. Spread on spare ribs. Bake 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Spread on chicken parts and bake for 1 hour. Leave uncovered for last 20 to 30 minutes.
