2 gallons apple cider
3 tsp. ground allspice
1 fifth applejack
Sliced orange, optional

Put cider and allspice in a large saucepan. Heat until almost simmering. Do not bring to a boil. Add applejack shortly before serving and float orange slices on top if you like.
