OLD FASHION CREAM OF TARTAR 
4 c. cubed potatoes (about 6 med.)
2 c. sliced celery
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. water (enough to cover)
2 tsp. salt
1 c. cream
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. pepper

Place potatoes, celery and onions in large pot. Add water and salt. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender (15 to 20 minutes). Put vegetables through blend. Pour mixture in pot and add remaining ingredients. Heat to serving temperature, stir often. Makes approximately 7 cups.
