APPLE CHEESECAKE 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Blend in flour. Spread dough on bottom and sides of springform pan.

CHEESE LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Cream sugar and cream cheese. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Pour over dough in pan.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. apples, sliced

Combine sugar and cinnamon. Toss apples into sugar mixture. Spoon over cream cheese layer in pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from pan.
