First of all it's not Tia Maria, it's Kahlua, second you require approx 10 oz. of Maple Syrup, third you require 40 oz. Canadian Whiskey.

there are many different recipes for Moose Milk. No one recipe is defined as the absolute original, and every recipe is different. I've seen it made with strawberries, brandy, dark rum, no eggs, no maple syrup, you name it. it's all called moose milk, and it's all good.

NO ... the Moose Milk I had was made with Tia Maria and it's DELICIOUS!

I would personally leave out,Milk,Ice-cream and egg's.

Tia Maria is good. We make Moosemilk as above but add a pint of brandy and use 3/2 eggnog/milk, rated the best New Years Levee in Halifax, NS.. Designated drivers etc. can have a rich chowder aboard HMCS Sackville on NY day!

I will stick with the recipe provided to me by the Canadian navy. 1 bottle of dark rum & 1 of white rum, one bottle of Tia Maria, 1 bottle Baileys, pour over a bucket of ice, add milk, ice cream (whatever), pour into a suitable drinking vessel & hang on. Beautiful when you already have a hangover.
