OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 egg
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. oat bran
12 oz. pkg. chocolate pieces

Cream butter; add sugars, eggs, water and vanilla. Sift flour and soda together. Add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly. Add oatmeal and bran; mix well. Add chocolate pieces. Mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake. Makes 4 dozen.
