LEMON BARS 
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix together until crumbly the butter, 2 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 cup sugar. Pat into 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until brown on edges. Gradually add sugar, 1 1/2 cups, to beaten eggs; beat well. Blend in 1/3 cup flour, baking powder, lemon juice and salt. Pour over baked crust.

Bake for 18 minutes more or until set. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
