| LEMON CHEESE CAKE BARS | |

1 box Betty Crocker pudding in the mix yellow cake mix 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/3 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/3 c. oil 1 tsp. lemon juice Mix cake mix, 1 egg and 1/3 cup oil until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of mixture. Pat remaining mixture lightly into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Beat cheese, sugar, lemon juice and 1 egg until light and smooth. Spread over baked layer. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 15 minutes longer. Cool, cut into bars and refrigerate. | |

I've been making this for YEARS!! Everyone loves it - even my daughter's boyfriend, who's not crazy about lemon! PS. I'm soooo glad its listed here - I couldn't find where I put my recipe and came online, without much hope of finding it - and here it is!! HURRAY!!

My recipe had gotten so worn I couldn't read all of it. I had to search for awhile, but I found it and all I can say, it's an oldy, but Goody!!!! Every time I take them I get a lot of comments! Makes a cook feel good.
