MICROWAVE CARAMEL APPLE DESSERT 
7 caramel pieces
3 tbsp. milk
1 tart apple (I prefer Golden Delicious)
Chopped salted nuts

Put caramels in small glass bowl, add 3 tablespoons milk. Microwave on medium (50%) heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until caramels are melted, stirring to blend.

Let cool slightly. Cut apples in bite size chunks. Stir the chopped salted nuts into the caramel mixture until they are well coated. (They are almost like taffy apples.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
