TOM THUMB BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar

Blend together. Pat into a jelly roll pan and bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees. 1 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 c. chopped nuts 1 1/2 c. coconut 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together well and spread over baked crust. Return to oven and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into bars when partly cooled.
