DERBY ROLLS 
1 c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour

Pour yeast into warm water and stir. Add the oil, sugar, egg, and salt and mix well. Add flour, stirring to blend well. Dough will be very sticky.

Cover and let rise 2 hours. Work in approximately 1/3 cup additional flour so mixture is easier to handle. With floured hands form dough into 1 1/2-inch balls and place in round cake pan. Let rise until double (approximately 45-60 minutes).

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 15-20 minutes.
