CHINESE SALAD 
1 (15 oz.) can French style green beans, drained
1 (16 oz.) can mixed Chinese vegetables, drained
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can peas, drained
1 c. diced celery
1 med. onion, thinly sliced & separated into rings
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Combine sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix well. Pour over vegetable mixture and toss lightly. Cover and chill at least 24 hours. Salad may be stored in refrigerator up to 1 week. Yields 6-8 servings.
