DROP SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt

Sift together: the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Combine with remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill the dough.

Place 1 teaspoon dough on cookie sheet. Press with glass dipped in sugar. Dip bottom of glass in oil or butter first.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
