THIN BREAD 
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. bran flakes
1/4 c. soy flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 scant c. shortening, melted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
3 to 4 c. white flour

Mix all ingredients except flour. Add enough white flour to make a stiff dough. Let set a while and it will be easier to handle. Roll thin like a cookie dough. Cut in squares. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown.

Substitute bacon grease or butter for the shortening for a different flavor. You can also use almost any kind of flour or breakfast food. Add 2 tablespoons of wheat germ for extra nutrition.
