OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. oats
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 350°F. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes about 4 dozen.
