OVERNIGHT CARAMEL FRENCH TOAST 
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
12 slices bread
1/4 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar

In small saucepan combine corn syrup, butter, and brown sugar. Simmer till syrupy. Pour this mixture over bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Lay 6 slices bread over sugar mixture. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and salt in medium bowl. Pour part of egg mixture over bread. Then layer remaining 6 slices on top. Pour remaining egg mixture over all. Cover pan and refrigerate overnight.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes (uncovered.) Serve warm with syrup.
