MERINGUE MINT COOKIES 
3 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. mini chocolate chips
Green food coloring

Beat egg whites until stiff; add salt and cream of tartar. Beat again. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly until stiff peaks form. Add a few drops of green food coloring and beat. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven. Turn off oven and let stand 8 hours or overnight. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
