HOMEMADE ONION SOUP 
4 onions, sliced medium
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
4 c. hot water
4 bouillon cubes (beef)
Parmesan cheese

Sauté onions in butter about 10 minutes to golden, stirring so as not to burn. Add flour and stir well. Combine the hot water and bouillon cubes, then gradually add to the onions while stirring. Simmer over low heat about 30 minutes. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
