CORN AND HAM CHOWDER 
2 c. ham, diced
2 cans cream style corn
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 c. diced raw potatoes
2-4 c. milk (depending in thickness of soup desired)
Salt and pepper to taste

Lightly brown ham in large pan. Add potatoes and onions. Barely cover with water, salt and pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Barely cover with water and cook gently 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Add cream corn and milk. This may also be thickened with instant potatoes.
