PEACH COBBLER 
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. chopped peaches
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. soft butter
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon

Combine sugars, cornstarch and water. Cook over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and fold in peaches. Pour into an 8 x 8 inch pan. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk and spread over peaches. Sprinkle top with sugar and nutmeg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees to 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Blueberries can be used instead of peaches.
