TURKEY TROT POPCORN 
2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch salt
7 qts. popped popcorn
1/2 c. white Karo
1 c. peanut butter
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
1 qt. pecan halves or 1 qt. almonds or 1 qt. peanuts

Mix sugar, syrup, butter and peanut butter in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add soda, salt, cream of tartar and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts. Mix gently and thoroughly. Place in large roasting pan. Bake 200 degrees 1 hour, stir every 15 minutes.
