GRAMMY WALTER'S LEMON BUTTER | |
1 c. sugar 3 eggs Butter the size of an egg, 1/4 c. Juice and rind of 1 lg. lemon Beat together sugar and eggs. Put butter, lemon juice and rind in medium saucepan and cook on medium heat until butter melts. Add sugar and egg mixture, reduce heat to low and cook until thick, stirring. Delicious on bread and rolls. Makes 1 1/2 cups. |
