SIMPLE CARBONARA 
pasta or spaghetti
bacon
cream
some sort of cheese (optional)
rosemary and thyme
bouillon cube
salt and pepper

Boil the pasta checking regularly to see that it's not over cooked (al denté). Chop up the bacon into small strips. When the pasta is almost done, start frying the bacon in a pan. Add the rosemary and thyme. when the bacon is almost done, add the cream and cheese, then fry for a little longer.

When done, put the sauce into a bowl and some more cream. Drain the pasta and put on a plate. Drizzle the sauce equally over the pasta and serve.
