EASY JAM CAKE WITH CARAMEL
FROSTING
 
Cake:

1 box spice cake mix
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. jam
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. water
2 eggs

Frosting:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
3 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar

Mix all ingredients for cake. Pour into greased bundt pan (or whatever kind of baking pan you like.)

Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes to one hour or until done. Allow to cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.

For frosting melt butter; add brown sugar. Bring to a boil; stir one minute or until slightly thick. Cool slightly. Add milk; beat smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners sugar until of spreading consistency.
