SPICY NUT TRIANGLES 
3/4-1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. finely chopped nuts (pecans)

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk, gradually add flour and cinnamon (which have been combined), stirring well. Spread evenly on cookie sheet (10 x 15 inch with sides). Beat egg white slightly, brush on top and smooth with fingertips. Sprinkle nuts on top and press in. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. While warm, cut in 24 squares.
