SHEPHERD'S PIE 
Makes 4 to 5 servings. Amounts are approximately according to taste and size of family.

MEAT SAUCE:

2 lbs. ground beef (lean)
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/2 sm. can tomato paste
1 level tsp. crushed garlic
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Sprinkle mixed herbs
1 beef bouillon cube & little water
1/2 med. chopped onion
1 sm. can sweet corn

TOPPING:

6-8 lg. potatoes
2 oz. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 level tsp. hot mustard
1 1/2 - 2 c. grated cheddar cheese
Garlic salt & pepper to taste

Cook beef and drain. Add all meat sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Peel and boil potatoes until soft enough for mashing. Mash and add butter, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Using 3" deep baking dish, put sauce in and spread potatoes on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top for last 5 minutes of baking time. Serve hot.
