COCONUT TART 
Pastry for 2 crust pie
2 (3 1/2 oz.) cans shredded coconut
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3 egg whites

Line 9 inch pie plate with half of the pastry. Combine the coconut, sugar, milk and egg whites. Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Cut remaining pastry into strips. Arrange strips of pastry on top of filling and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
