WASSAIL BEER BOWL 
3 qt. beer
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. dry sherry
5 slices lemon
6 slices freshly toasted white bread

Heat beer and all ingredients just to boiling. DO NOT BOIL. Taste for sweetening.

Pour into large heated bowl containing the toast.

Serve hot in punch glasses. Serve 16-18.
