HILDA'S CORN PUFFS 
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 scant tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. corn

Resift flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg, milk and corn. Stir well. Bring deep fat to 350 degrees. Drop batter by teaspoon in fat. Drain on paper and sprinkle with 10x sugar. Makes 16.
