HOT FRUIT CASSEROLE 
1 can peach halves
1 can pear halves
1 can pineapple slices
1 jar red apple rings
1 c. sherry
2 tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
1 jar maraschino cherries
1/4 c. sugar

Drain all fruit well. In a saucepan, mix sugar, sherry, flour and butter. Cook until thick as heavy cream, stirring constantly. Arrange fruit in layers in a casserole pan, placing a layer of peaches, then a layer of pears, then pineapple. Scatter the apple rings in each layer for color. In center of each pineapple slice, place a cherry. Pour the sauce over fruit. Refrigerate overnight. Before serving, take out of refrigerator 30 minutes, then bake in 350°F oven for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
