SWEET POTATOES A LA ANN SERANNE 
3 lb. sweet potatoes, cooked & peeled
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sherry
1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Cream
Salt & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 325 to 350 degrees. Mash potatoes until smooth. Beat in half the butter, sherry, nutmeg and half the cinnamon. Moisten with cream. Add salt and pepper. Put mixture into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Dot with remaining butter and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes.

Serves 6.
