LONDON BROIL 
2 to 3 lbs. london broil (top round 2 to 3 inches thick)
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped up
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. olive oil

Pierce meat with fork tines and place in glass dish. Mix all other ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate meat several hours turning once or twice. Remove meat from marinade and grill or broil until rare. Heat remaining marinade on stove. After slicing meat very thin on an angle, place on platter and pour heated marinade through a strainer over meat. Serve at once. This marinade is wonderful on Shish Kabob or chicken too.
