OVERNIGHT FRENCH TOAST | |
1 loaf French bread (10 oz.) 8 lg. eggs 3 c. milk 4 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt (opt.) 1 to 2 tsp. vanilla 6 tbsp. butter Cinnamon to taste Cut bread into 1 inch slices. Mix ingredients except butter and cinnamon. Pour over bread and chill 6 to 36 hours. Dot with butter (butter) and sprinkle on cinnamon. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown in a 9 x 3 inch pan at 350 degrees. Serve with warm syrup. |
