OVERNIGHT FRENCH TOAST 
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
6 (3/4 inch thick) slices French bread
2 tbsp. butter, divided
Powdered sugar

Combine eggs, milk, orange juice, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla; beat well. Set aside.

Place bread in a single layer in a shallow dish. Pour egg mixture over bread; turn slices to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours.

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet; arrange 3 slices bread in skillet, and cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Repeat procedure with remaining butter and bread slices. Sprinkle toast with powdered sugar. Yield: 2 to 3 servings.
