GOURMET SAUCE - IN - A - STICK

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. non-fat dry milk powder
1/2 c. unsifted flour
2 tbsp. instant chicken bouillon
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
Dash of pepper
3-4 tbsp. sherry or water
1/2 tsp. whole thyme
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Microwave butter in glass bowl 1/2 - 1 minute or until softened. Mix in dry milk, flour, bouillon, garlic salt, thyme, pepper, and cheese. Stir in water until mixture is moistened and can be formed into a ball.

Shape dough into 8 inch roll on waxed paper or plastic wrap. Make indentations at 1 inch intervals, dividing roll into eighths. Wrap tightly and store in refrigerator. It can be cut into eighths and wrapped tightly for storage in the freezer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
