GOURMET GREEN BEANS 
1 lb. fresh green beans, cut in half
2 tbsp. chopped celery
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
4 tbsp. butter
Bread crumbs

In 1 1/2 quart casserole, place 1/2 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt. add beans, cover and microwave on High for 16-18 minutes. Stir beans after 7 minutes. Drain beans at end of cooking time. Brown onions and celery in butter - then add cut-up cheese. When cheese has melted, add mixture to green beans. Mix and cover with bread crumbs. Microwave (covered) on High for 5 minutes or until hot. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
