FISH STEW 
2 lbs. fish filets
2 med. potatoes
3 lg. onions
1 med. green pepper
1/4 lb. salt pork
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. garlic salt
Plenty of black pepper

Dice vegetables and pork; brown pork in skillet and pour into heavy kettle. Add potatoes and brown. Add peppers, onions, and water. Lay fish on top and sprinkle with garlic and pepper. Cover tightly; turn up heat and start to steam. Reduce heat and cook 20 minutes, basting fish twice. Serve over rice.
