FRESH HERB CHEESE 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp. half & half
3 cloves garlic, minced fine
1/4 c. fresh dill, chopped
1/4 tsp. fresh chives, chopped
5 drops hot pepper sauce (or to taste)

Beat cream cheese with half & half. Add remaining ingredients. Line 1 quart bowl with cheesecloth. Spoon in mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Turn out onto platter and remove cheesecloth or serving board. Surround with crackers or bread slices. Allow guests to spread cheese with a knife.

NOTE: The first time you might want to reduce garlic until you have tasted the mixture. Remember, flavors blend and strengthen overnight.
